Recently refurbished attractive farmhouse in a peaceful and tranquil location surrounded by open countryside. All bedrooms have been decorated to a high standard and feature white bed linen, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite shower rooms. Complimentary soap provided by Studley Cottage soap. There are fantastic views from all bedrooms towards the Cheviot hills.

Aga cooked breakfast using our own free range eggs, good quality local bacon and sausage from the butcher, and jam and marmalade from Coquet Valley Preserves which are located on site. Breakfast is served in the downstairs lounge, which is available throughout the day and evening for guests to use. This room has an open fire which will be lit in the winter months.

Eshott Heugh Farm is part of a mixed working farm and you may see cattle and sheep in the fields surrounding the house. We also have red squirells in the wood behind the house, thses can be seen every day in the winter months on the feeders in the garden. There are rare breed hens and a couple of goats and donkeys in the farm yard. There is also a tea room and a gift shop on site in a converted farm barn.

The house is easily accessed from the A1 and is within reach of all Northumberland tourist attractions.

Hadrians Wall
Hadrians Wall

Hadrian's Wall is a stone and timber fortification built by the Roman Empire across the width of what is now northern England. Begun in AD 122, during the rule of emperor Hadrian, it was the first of two fortifications built across Great Britain, the second being the Antonine Wall in what is now Scotland. Hadrian's Wall is the better known of the two because its physical remains are more evident today.
